Most of us have been learning English since like forever...from kindergarten up to tertiary level...the question is why there are not many of us (Malay students especially) able to speak up their minds freely by conversing in English?
WHAT ARE THE MAJOR PROBLEMS that may prevent us from using the second language? Is it because of SHYNESS? LACK OF CONFIDENCE? NOT INTERESTED? AFRAID OF BECOMING THE LAUGHING STOCK OF THE WHOLE CLASS? I could only shrugged and shook my head......it is such a SHAME....shame on you and shame on me twice...There is nothing to lose actually. Well for a start, of course not all of us could speak English fluently. Frankly speaking, not even me. *sigh*.. The most important is to start practising...PRACTICES MAKE PERFECT. The first few months we may struggle with words but as we are making our progress, we will enhance our communicating ability. Think about it. The key is in our hand. "If you want things to change, You must change first." We have to start polishing our English. I want to focus on the 4 important components. Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. Will you do the same? :D
